Dr. Philip Mango
… is a licensed psychotherapist with 30 years of experience doing individual, family, premarital and marital therapy. He is the President of St. Michael’s Institute for the Psychological Sciences in Manhattan.
He is the Founder and Captain of Warrior Brothers – a movement, a community of brothers – whose mission is to provide one means by which to restore masculinity, because it is his conviction that marriage, family, society, and the Church will be strong, and thrive, to the degree that they have masculine men on a mission. His Brotherhood encourages men to reject the hectic, driven, agitated existence and its attendant slavery to TV, computers and telephones and to put God and family before all. Men are called to action, to servant-leadership, and to self-sacrificial love, and his is an attempt to recapture the true essence of masculinity in a culture increasingly confused about, and hostile to, such ideals.
Dr. Mango is recognized internationally as an expert in the development of authentic masculine identity and spirituality.
He worked as a consultant for Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta over a 12-year period.
He is also a trumpet player and leader of the “Real Deal Jazz Sextet” which performs in the New York area. Dr. Mango is married and the father of three children.

She knew she had to do more with her life. Thus began her journey back to Christ.

Kim Kalman
… was born and raised Catholic. She has been involved with music ministry since her freshman year of high school. Currently, she serves Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Kitty Hawk, NC and Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Nags Head, NC. Kim started recording Christian material in 2007 at the request of her parish. She now performs at various churches nationwide.
Kim has known since she was young that she was born to sing. She has sung with both school and church choirs, toured with an international educational music group, developed her own restaurant circuits, booked weddings, festivals, and other events around the world including New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Europe, Canada, and Nashville. Now living in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, she realizes that she was born not only to sing, but also to share her gift with community.
“Community is where music is present and it is present within all of us because God is present within each of us. When one of us sings in praise, God is revealed. Singing together in church expresses the sacramental presence of God. Christ invites us to enter the song. When we do, we join ourselves to his sacrifice for the Glory of the Trinity. Music is witness to God and our relationship with God. We reach God with song… song is an expression of faith. It remains with us and leads us through the church doors to the whole world. Our music has an evangelical dimension. It is not just for the praise of God or nourishment of the believer… it moves us to carry our mission into our homes and communities.”
